In this dashboard, we will compare Q3 Q4 of 2021 and Q1 Q2 of 2022 in terms of Application calls made on the Algorand Blockchain.

We will use algorand.application_call_transaction table to gather the data required. Lets look at the overall metrics first.

Looking at the plots above, we can see:

• 2022 is the clear winner
• Q1 Q2 of 2022 put up almost 3 times the application calls as well as users making application calls than Q3 Q4 of 2021.

Let us look at daily data now.

Looking at daily data:

• Its clear that the increase in Application Calls has been an overall improvement in metrics, not a single day or an single occasion pumping out the values
• In daily users, we can see that most users are involving with applications, only during specific occasions.
• All these User spikes occur during increased market volatility
