Active ENS Registrations

For this analysis we want to know the percent of people who use their ens registrations. We define ens registrations as the total number of unique addresses with an ens registration. We then define usage as unique addresses with an ens registration who have transactions outside of the transaction which involved the ens registration. We calculate this percentage based on activity in the past 180 days. We see that the vast majority (roughly 96%) have conducted transactions outside of ens registration. One interpretation for this high level of activity is that ens registration requires a decent knowledge of the crypto ecosystem. It is not likely to be the only activity one performs. Therefore, we would expect users who have registered an ens to also participate in crypto in other ways.
