In total, 248,699 addresses were eligible to claim $OP and its trading started on May 31st.

• 43.5 percent of holders have under 10 $OP in their wallet

• 54% have between 10 and 1K $OP

• 0.26% have above 100K $OP

• so about half of the holders are holding only a small amount of $OP

• in May most wallets had under 10 $OP balance

• in June 50 percent of holders had between 100 and 1K $OP balance but week after week decreased and reached 17% in the last week

• 33 percent of wallets used layer2 protocols in most months

• the NFT sector usage increased in July

• in terms of transaction count, the Defi sector is the top sector

• in Feb and March, 70 percent of transactions were in the Defi sector

• the Layer2 and DEX sector share increased in the last months

• The top platform with the highest number of wallets is Optimism OP token, 250K wallets used OP token

• the second and third platforms are Hop and Uniswap v3 with 195K and 173K wallets

• The top platform in terms of transaction count is Perpetual protocol with 5.8M transactions
