Bridger Destinations

    Overview

    in this dashboard, we will look at the Bridges from Ethereum to Polygon and find out how the bridge volume was and what people go for after the bridge.

    Approach

    1. first, we find the bridge transactions and wallets
    2. then we will look for the first transaction after the bridge for each wallet
    3. in the end, we can see the contract user transacted belongs to which platform

    Bridges:

    I used the Polygon native, Plasma, and Hop Bridge to follow the bridges to Polygon.

    will look at:

    • Bridge Volume to Polygon through the three bridges

    • the top platforms people go for after bridge

    => Bridge Volume

    this figure depicts the Bridge volume from Ethereum to Polygon per week since June( because the flipside polygon data is available from June).

    • the volume contains the USDC, USDT, MATIC, DAI, and ETH
    • the main Volume is through the Polygon Bridge and Plasma
    • Hop Volume is much lower and is not comparable with the others

    => Top Platforms After Bridge

    this bar chart shows the top 10 platforms that users transacted within the first transaction right after the bridge

    • Hop Protocol with the highest interaction is the top platform users interacted with after the bridge
    • QuickSwap and Metamask are in second and third place with 5.5K and 5.5K transactions, which means for example 5.5K times people interacted with this platform in the first transaction after the bridge
    • Aave, Sushiswap, Opensea, and uniswap are the ext platforms

    Conclusion

    1. most bridge volume is through Polygon Native and Plasma Bridges
    2. Hop, Quickswap, and Metamask are the top platforms that users interacted with in the first transaction after the bridge
