    What is LooksRare?

    LooksRare is an NFT marketplace based on the Ethereum blockchain that offers similar options that OpenSea does. Users can buy and sell NFTs by making an offer, bidding during an auction, or trading NFTs at a fixed price.

    One of its major advantages is the fee structure which is slightly cheaper than the fees that are collected on OpenSea. With a 2% fee on NFTs sales, LooksRare is not only cheaper but also defines itself as a community-first marketplace. This is also reflected by the fact that holders of the LOOKS token receive 100% of the trading fees when actively staking their tokens.

    The platform was founded in January 2022 by two anonymous founders called “Guts” and “Zodd”. Up until this day the team and the founders operate using pseudonyms rather than being represented by a business entity. Staff is strictly paid in crypto and can choose between WETH and LOOKS. LooksRare is committed to improving the usability and options of the marketplace by extending order types on its platform. Such as the option to make an offer for a whole collection, offer to buy an NFT with a specific trait, or cancel orders in a single transaction.

    Observations

    According to the charts above, you can see the number of transactions, the number of buyers and the number of sellers on December 15.

    which is equal to the day the campaign started, there was a significant increase

    we can see The average Number of transactions per day increased from 357 Tx to 1072 Tx

    and The average Number of Sellers per day increased from 232 Sellers to 588 Sellers

    and The average Number of Buyers per day increased from 258 Buyers to 907 Buyers

    Why the َaverage number of buyers has grown more than average Number of sellers??

    Because one of the tasks of the campaign was that the participants should buy NFT

    Observations

    Why the volume of transactions has not grown significantly?

    According the above Charts we cans see volume of Transactions has not Grown Significantly

    Because inside the Compaign task The price range for buying NFT has not specified that

    and

    For this reason, buyers have preferred to buy cheaper NFT, and this has not had a great impact on the volume of transactions

    But we cans see The Average Fees spent per day During Holiday quest It has grown significantly before Holiday Quest

    Observations

    According the above charts we can see the number of new users before and during holiday quest Almost the same

    and on 15 december that compaign started we had 2653 ne buyers

    also we can see average(tx,buyers ,sellers,volume and fees) before and during holdiay quest

    as you can see we had more sales,buyers,seller and total spent fees during holiday quest than before compaign started

    Observations

    According the above charts we can see distribution of buyers by their purchases volume before and after compaign

    before compaign started the most purchase were between $100-500 Volume with 26.6% and 772 Buyers

    in the second rank purchases were between $10-100 Volume with 25.4% and 738 Buyers

    but during holiday quest

    the most purchases were less than $10 Volume with 69.4% and 9720 Buyers

    and the second rank purchases were between $10-100 Volume with 14% 1964 Buyers

    Why has the purchase of NFTs less than $10 grown so dramatically?

    as i said above Because one of the tasks of the campaign was that the participants should buy NFT

    and buyers have preferred to buy cheaper NFT,

    and according the below image we can see 9265 users completed this task and bought NFT

    According the above charts we can see top NFT collections sales based on (Volume and Sales Count) before and after hliday quest

    based on Count of sales,before holiday quest These were the top three collections : the otherside,rtfkt x nike monolith and ledger

    and during holiday quest these were the top three collections : the otherside , knownorigindigitalasset and Zapper NFT V2

    the otherside has maintained his rank at the top But the second and third rank have changed

    Observations

    According the above charts

    We can see that this campaign has had a great impact on the sales of these two collections

    and Why?

    as i say buyers have preferred to buy cheaper NFT

    and this two collections have very cheap NFT prices and very low Floor price

    according the left charts we can see distribution of sales by their volume,

    as you can see 95.4% of Sales are less than 10$

    Conclusion

    • when Holiday quest started Number of sales,users,and total spent fees there was a significant increase but Volume not has changed

    • Number of Buyers were more than sellers when compaign started

    • The sale of cheap NFTs has grown significantly

    • This campaign has increased the sales of knownorigindigitalasset and Zapper NFT V2

    i use FlipsideCrypto data forn analyze this dashboard

    i use this table ethereum.core.ez_nft_sales

    and i use this method to filter datas platform_name like 'looksrare'

    the metrics :

    • number ,Volume,… of sales before and after Holiday quest deeply
    • analysis buyers and sellers before and after Holiday quest deeply
    • Analysis average of transctions per day before and after Holiday quest deeply
    • Analysis Distribution of Buyers by their Purchase volume before and after Holiday quest deeply
