The highest number of transactions was on Aug 05, 2022 with more than 11K TX and also on this day we had the number of unique user with almost 3.6K user.

and highest users in 22sep with 5k unique users

We can see clearly that protocol was so active on Aug month and a lot of users attracted to be active on it, the reason may be The incentives offered by this platform or growing of Optimism chain.

Let start with some overall stats for better understanding of what happening in the protocol. The total transactions that Aave have on Optimism is 174k and Total unique users is 24.2 user.

Most of the transactions and users engaged in supply action, we can see that clearly here which 40% of the transaction belongs to the supply and supply also have 37% of the users’ activity. Clearly that users love to supply to benefit from the profit that it is to make for them.

At the second rank borrow action come with 30% of the transactions and 29.6% of users activity.

There is also withdraw, repay and flash Leon which are in the third to lower ranks

The Total supply amount is 3.32BUSD, there are 19kunique supplier and there are 45.1K supply transaction.

The highest count of transactions was on Aug 04, 2022 with 4.2K TX.

The highest count of unique supplier was on Aug 10, 2022 also with 1.6K supplier.

It can be seen here that the increase in daily values especially in unique users count is not gradual but sudden and frequent. It can be concluded that these sudden increases are caused by excitement, which can be due to the news, we can see clearly that there are some days that had a high count of unique supplier compare to the days before them

Although Aave v3 started on Mar 16 but the supply amount until Aug 04 was very low and The highest supply amount in USD was on Aug 04, 2022 with 910M USD. Why is that ? That is because the announcement of which Liquidity Mining program is live on Aave V3 to distribute 5M OP to the Aave Protocol’s Optimism Market users (source)

but excitement will not bring a high amount of money. And daily supply amount decreased fast after Aug 04

• daily stats show us the USDC leading in Daily amount, and it has the biggest share most of the days
• the last days we see a very strange interest of users to supply WETH but with very low amount

The total borrowed amount is 2.54BUSD, there are 16.1Kunique borrower and 35.7K borrow transaction.

The highest daily count of transactions was on Sep 22, 2022 with 4.8K TX.

The highest daily count of unique borrower was on Sep 22, 2022 also with 4.5k borrower.

But excitement and airdrop news will not bring a high amount of money. And daily borrowed amount decreased very fast after Aug 04

• The Most Token that users love to Borrow and the token that has the most Borrower is USDC, 50.3% of users are intending to borrow USDC and 49.7% of borrowed amount is belongs to USDC.
• After USDC at the second rank DAI comes with 36.4% of the users and 34.8% of the borrowed amount
• almost 90% of borrowed amount are in stablecoins
• in the daily stats shows us the USDC leading in first days, but DAI was had the highest amount in the recent days

I used the optimism.core.fact_event_logs table with Aave v3 pool contract = 0x794a61358d6845594f94dc1db02a252b5b4814ad

To collect all the transactions and all other data that I will need.

I divided the transaction to 5 category base on their unique ORIGIN_FUNCTION_SIGNATURE :
