Voting Activity

Q1. The Lil Nouns DAO is controlled via on-chain voting by token holders. Using the Ethereum database, analyze voting activity on Lil Nouns proposals. Since voting is on chain and costs gas, are smaller holders excluded from the voting process? Visualize and analyze this question, along with any other trends you find that are relevant.

    Method

    In this dashboard, I analyze:

    • Mints
    • Holders
    • The votes
    • Wallets behavior after voting

    Mints

The following table shows the number of Mints.

    Voting

The following graph shows the wallets voted, the number of their votes, and the number of NFTs they hold now.

    Loading...

Overall 152 wallets participated in the voting. They voted 2551 times but now those wallets only hold 535 NFTs which means 2016 NFTs have been sold after voting.

    Groups of Voters

But as you can see in the next graph even after decreases in the number of NFTs, some of the wallets bought more NFTs

In the following graph I divided Voters to different groups ( by number of their votes - NFTs)

As you can see, more than 57% of NFTs were for users with more than 100 NFTs. The smallest group is for voters with 3 NFTs which only contains 39 NFTs (3913 wallets).

    Conclusion

    • 80 wallets currently hold fewer NFTs than the voting day (52%)
    • 55 wallets have the same number of NFTs (36%)
    • 17 wallets have more NFTS now (11%)
    • 57% of votes were voted by wallets that had more than 100 NFTs
    • 21.3% of votes were voted by wallets that had fewer than 25 NFTs

    Holders

The following graph shows the holders and number of NFTs they have now.

Overall 980 wallets hold 2327 NFTs:
