Solana Staking Trends

Question:

What percentage of the average Solana's user portfolio is staked Solana? Create a visualization showing % SOL staked over time.

Are new wallets more or less likely to stake Solana than established wallets? What type of wallet activities tend to lead to a wallet staking Solana? Are there any noticeable user trends that lead to staking with Marinade specifically?

Methodology:

In this dashboard we will be looking over:
- Number of transactions on stake vs Others over time
- New vs Old wallet dominance
- Marinade vs Others staking Trends
All the above data has been curated from the events table and that would be used to get further information.

Explanation & Insights:

Marinade just has about 10% or less common of all transactions on Stakes . That is, whoever is staking SOL has 1 in a 10 chance or less that the user is also staking on Marinade
At it’s best, (from normalised view), the Marinade dominance has been as high as 13% but has been reduced over time
Most of the transactions (about 85%) belong to swap while 9-10% belong to transfer and only 6% or less go to

stakers
New Wallets here are those wallets which have made their first transavction in the last 90 days
Among the wallets, new wallets have a 36% share in the total stakes made in the past 90 days
About 1k-2k transactions are made towards staking on a daily basis
In the past 90 days only, about 100k transactions to stake have taken place
