Folks Finance is a leading DeFi protocol for borrowing and lending built on the Algorand blockchain. It has 8 pools that enables users to deposit and lend a variety of assets including ALGO, goBTC, and goETH.

In this dashboard I am gonna calculate the TVL on the platform in terms of deposited and borrowed amounts.

The first image shows the total TVL on Folks Finance over time. It is clear that there is a bad trend during this crypto volatile bear market. Whiile during April, the TVL started to grow from near 0 to more than 14M, it started to decrease since the crash of May preceded by the UST depegging action occurred. In fact, the deposits decreased dramatically more than borrows.

Looking at the second chart, we can see the TVL splitted by deposited amount and borrowed amount. Here it can be seen the heavy damage on the deposits rather than borrows.
