In the LUNA Distribution Mvmt 1 we analyzed how much $LUNA supply is held by Whales (aka Top 100 wallets) and the wealth distribution in the Terra Ecosystem.

In this bounty we will check the distribution of $LUNA in active wallets. The second part of the bounty is a bit unclear, because if we exclude 'inactive' wallets it is the same as the first question.

What is an active wallet?

For this analysis, an active wallet is defined as a wallet that has 'swapped' in the last 90 days!

We have a total of 48,617 active wallets in the last 90 days.

This bar chart shows the 100 most active wallets. We can see that only 10 wallets are super active with more than 10,000 swaps in the last 90 days. They are followed by two wallets wit over 5,000 activities. The majority (48,605) of all addresses have only less than 1000 activities.

We have a total of 48,555 active $LUNA holding wallets in the last 90 days.

The wallet distribution (of active wallets) shows, that most, 94.256%, of all wallets hold less than 100 $LUNA. Nearly 99% hold less than 1000 $LUNA in their wallets.

Conclusion

After analyzing the active wallets, we can say that Whales seem not very active. Only 10 wallets, with more than 1 Million $LUNA, are in active wallets. That means that more than 99% of all active wallets are not categorized as Whales, and 94% of these wallets hold less than 100 $LUNA and are called 'Phytoplankton' as we defined them in 'LUNA Distribution Mvmt 1'. So this means Phytoplanktons are very active and Whales are very lazy. But maybe this is sort of risk reduction and they just wait for price increases.
