In the following analysis we will have a look the $LUNA price chart and will show the number of days with a price under and over 52 $UST in the past 90 days.

All data is from March 2nd and the past 90 days.

What is $LUNA

LUNA is the Terra protocol's native token, used for staking, governance and collateral for the network's algorithmic stablecoins.

The chart above show very clearly the $LUNA price chart and the 52 $UST baseline. We can also see that there were not that much days in the past 90 days, where the price of $LUNA was below 52 $UST.

On 78 days of the past 90 days, the price of $LUNA was over 52 $UST.

Only on 13 days of the past 90 days, the price of $LUNA was under 52 $UST.

Conclusion

If we just look at the past 90 days, we'll get the feeling, that 52 $USTR could be the new floor for $LUNA. But this is only a snapshot and only the future will really show us if this is the case. However, the shortage of $LUNA by burning $LUNA for $UST, due to the high demand for $UST especially by new centralized exchanges, helps a lot! Because the shortage can lead to a price increase.
