Optimism Airdrop Stats
This dashboard investigates the airdrop, which the Optimism blockchain issued of their $OP governance token.
Optimism is a “layer 2” blockchain which sits on top of the Ethereum blockchain. It is part of the scaling vision of the Ethereum network. It offers speed and low transaction fees, while still providing the security of the Ethereum mainnet.
An “airdrop” is not supplies parachuted from an airplane or the transfering of files between Mac devices.
It is the method through which a protocol or blockchain distributes their tokens initially. The hope is that the recipients will support the network, by engaging in its applications, delegating their tokens and participating in governance.

The contract address controlling the airdrops provided the ability to detect the recipients and the amounts.
hodler - Claimed the drop and hun on to the OP.
quitter - Grabbed their $OP then dumped it.
zealot - Not only did they claim their OP, but they bought more.
