Q9. What actions does a user take when they deposit money into the NEAR ecosystem? Show the most common actions taken by users on NEAR (new users using NEAR for the first time) over the past 3 months.
Introduction
NEAR is a simple, scalable, and secure blockchain platform designed to provide the best possible experience for developers and users, which is necessary to bridge the gap to mainstream adoption of decentralized applications.
NEAR is a Layer 1 blockchain, meaning it not dependent on other chains. It uses a unique scaling mechanism (Nightshade sharding) and makes it especially easy to onboard new users (e.g. through named accounts).
Method
In this dashboard I will be using near.core database to analyze new NEAR users in past 3 month and I will illustrate what actions are most common by these new users and also what applications on NEAR are most popular by these new users. I have used near.core.fact_transactions table to find users who have transacted with NEAR for the first time in past 3 month. To do this first I have found wallets who had the first transactions in past 3 month and then I have excluded the wallets who had transactions before the past 3 month, so the result will give us the wallets that just joined to NEAR in past 3 month.
Overall Analysis
The following left chart shows daily number of new users on NEAR over past 3 month and also cumulative number of new users. We can see highest number of new users from July 9 to July 13. And total number new users on NEAR reached to 210387 wallets in past 3 month.
The following right chart shows daily number of transactions performed by these new users over past 3 month. We can see some spikes in number of transactions from July 9 to July 13 where the NEAR price was between 3.76$ and 3.22$ that is roughly close to lowest NEAR price in past 3 month (3.13$). But in general we can see an uptrend in number of new users transactions over past 3 month.
Most common actions
On following charts we can see 20 most common actions taken by these new users based on number of transactions they have made, number of unique users who performed the action, and deposited volume for each action.
Left charts represent these most common actions per day over past 3 month and right charts represent overall result.

The following charts show 10 most used applications and contract on NEAR by these new users based on number of transactions they have made, number of unique users, and deposited volume.
