True Freeze - 4. My Next Purchase
What is the most common transaction (any transaction) users make after minting frETH?
Introduction
What is True Freeze?
True Freeze is an autonomous protocol allowing anyone to lock ETH out of circulation ("proof of patience") and mint frETH yield tokens and a tradeable Certificate of Deposit Freezer NFT for doing so.
-
Get paid to send ETH into the future.
-
Pay to bring ETH back to the present.
\
That's it, that's the protocol.
It is explicitly designed to be the least complicated and most accessible yield in all of DeFi by creating a free market mechanism to price the time-preference rate for ETH.
Or other native tokens of EVM chains if/when launched on those chains.
Method
In this dashboard I will use Flipside Velocity and ethereum.core.fact_event_logs
table to analyze frETH minting transactions over time and visualize most common transaction users have done after minting ftETH. First we will look at number of frETH mints over time and number of unique frETH minters over time. Then we will see what type of transaction is most common after minting in terms of number of transactions, number of unique users and ETH volume. Finally we will analyze most common transactions over time.
I have used True Freeze contract address to filter True Freeze mint transactions.
The following charts show number of minting frETH and number of unique minters since June 10, 2022.
We can see the highest number of frETH mints by 54 mints and 11 unique minters was on June 20.
On following charts we can see most common transaction users have done after minting.
The most common transaction type was Transfer by 192 transactions and next is Swap by 176 transactions.
On following charts we can see most common transaction users have done after minting frETH based on number of unique users.
The most common transaction type was Transfer by 13 unique users and next is Swap by 8 swaps.
On following charts we can see volume of most common transaction users have done after minting frETH.
We can see 47.6% of volume was for Transfer and 31.4% was for Swap.
The following charts shows Transfer and Approval transaction over time.
