Solana Fees

In response to: Question 6: One of the main advantages for a user of Solana is the extremely low fees relative to other blockchains. Create a visualization showing transaction fees per day accumulated since the beginning of January. Also create a visualization that shows transaction fees per transaction on each day. Do fees ever seem to spike or is it consistent?

    Part 1: Accumulated transaction fees:

The chart below is derived from Solana transaction fees. It started from one Jan., the primary trend is Ascending, but in the middle of the chart(20~22 Jan), we could see that momentum is decreasing. in average, the Solana ecosystem gets 277.5 sol from all transaction fees in a day. It contains false and true transactions. as seen in the second chart, 25 percent of transaction fees (2691 sol) achieved from not succeeded transactions; that is so bad for a great ecosystem like Solana; transaction fees on Solana are so low, but the number of transaction is increasing daily, and the total value incomes from transaction fees are increasing.

The third chart compares the transaction fees related to the sol system with other subset tokens from the Solana ecosystem. Based on this chart, 97 percent of the total value income from all transaction fees is related to Solana subsets. There are two reasons, the first one is the growth of the Solana ecosystem and subsets, and the second one is those transaction fees on subset systems that are two or three times more expensive than the sol system.

In the second part of this Bounty, we pay the transaction fees per transaction on each day. for better understanding, we normalized the chart between 0 to 1. based on the chart, Fridays have more fees per transaction, and the fees seem to rise and drop intermittently.

    conclusion

Solana ecosystem is growing consistently. The fees arrived from transactions are good income for this blockchain, but we should not disregard that 25 percent of these fees come from false transactions that mostly show the technical problem in this ecosystem. Moreover, in the end, The total income from Solana subsets transaction fees is more remarkable than the Solana system itself.
