What are Hyperspace and CoralCube? 

Hyperspace.xyz is the Solana NFT Marketplace Aggregator. You can trade listings directly from all Solana NFT marketplaces - including Magic Eden, Opensea, Coral Cube, Solanart, Fractal, SMB, Holaplex, Rarible, and any other Auction House based marketplace - without being redirected.

Similarly, CoralCube is the Solana NFT aggregator marketplace. The fastest NFT marketplace is developed by some of the top OG engineers and product managers from Facebook and Uber.

Overview

In this dashboard, I examined the following steps: 1- Checking KPIs between Hyperspace and Coral Cube. 2- Calculating the sales volume for each marketplace. 3- Measuring the popularity of each marketplace. 4- Comparing which marketplace has the better opportunity to grow and invest? 5- Showing market trends between the marketplaces, especially after Solana marketplaces moved to a 0% creator royalty

Methodology

In this bounty, I usedsolana.core.fact_nft_sales table for extracting the data related to NFT sales in both marketplaces, and solana.core.dim_nft_metadata and solana.core.dim_labels tables for labeling each collection. I neglected the collections that had no labels.

Which marketplace has done more volume?

The following 5 bar chart compares the sales volume, the number of mints, the number of sales, and the number of buyers and sellers, respectively, for Coralcube and Hyperspace. Accordingly, since the inception of both marketplaces, the coral cube has specified more sales volume, more mints, number of sales, and number of unique purchasers to itself.

The popular collections on Hyperspace

The following bar charts show the top ten popular collections in terms of the number of sales and the sales volume. So based on the sales volume, y00ts: mint t00bs, degods, and critters cult with 14K, 8.6K, and 4.1K SOL  achieved the first, second, and third rank, respectively. If we measure the popularity according to the number of sales, critters cult, blockasset legends - Muhammad Ali, and y00ts: mint t00bs with 249, 183, and 138 were ranked at the top of the table.

The popular collections on Coralcube

The following bar charts show the top ten popular collections in terms of the number of sales and the sales volume. So based on the sales volume, trippin' ape tribe, communi3: mad scientists, and great goats with 43.6K, 20K, and 19.9K SOL  achieved the first, second, and third rank, respectively. Also according to the number of sales, 111 anons, great goats, and kings of da street with 4032, 2759, and 2562 were ranked at the top of the table.

Generally, the sales volume and the number of NFT trades on coralcube were considerably higher than hyperspace. Also the popular collections on each marketplaces are different from another.

The variety of the collections

Coralcube started the marketplace in February 2022, but Hyperspace began in September 2022. For this reason, the coral cube had a lot of time to add more collections. In this marketplace, approximately 2874 collections have traded. The number of hyperspace collections is 285, so Hyperspace has a long way to go further than the coral cube.

Market Trends Between the Marketplaces

The following two line charts show the number of NFT sales and the daily sales volume for both marketplaces. In this part, I explain the trends after Sep 2022. from Sep 22th to Oct 14th, the sales volume and the number of sales trends were ascending, but after Oct 14th, after Solana marketplaces moved to a 0% creator royalty, we saw a downtrend in mentioned factors. Since September, the number of sales and the sales volume for coral cube have been partially higher than hyperspace.

Conclusion

1. According to the higher sales volume, the number of mints, the number of sales, and the number of buyers and sellers for Coral cube rather than Hyperspace, I recommended trading at the coral cube.
2. But Hyperspace is immature, so it needs more time to show itself.
3. The top collections for coral cube and Hyperspace were different from each other.
4. For both marketplaces, the sales volume trend after the middle of Oct was descending, and the main reason could be 0% royalty.
