The CryptoPunks are 10,000 uniquely generated characters. No two are exactly alike, and each one of them can be officially owned by a single person on the Ethereum blockchain. Originally, they could be claimed for free by anybody with an Ethereum wallet, but all 10,000 were quickly claimed. Now they must be purchased from someone via the marketplace that's also embedded in the blockchain. Via this market you can buy, bid on, and offer punks for sale. Below, you'll find information about the status of each Punk in the market. Punks with a blue background are not for sale and have no current bids. Punks with a red background are available for sale by their owner. Finally, punks with a purple background have an active bid on them.

methodology:

Since crypto punks of version 1 are not acceptable, I only considered version two or original.

The main crypto punk nfts are in the form of erc20 tokens, and for sale in different markets, they must be wrapped in the form of erc721 tokens.

Since the owner of a wrapped NFT can unwrap his NFT, I also followed this wrapped wallet in my calculations.

I used two tables ethereum.core.ez_nft_sales and ethereum.core.ez_nft_transfers for all my queries.

observations:

• Since October 30, 2021, the slope of the total volume of transactions has been decreasing, which is a big alarm for this collection, but this slope is still acceptable compared to the market conditions.

• Also, the general trend of the growth of the total volume of transactions of this collection is excellent and stunning.

• The total dollar volume of transactions so far is 2.54 billion dollars, which is really very high.

observations:

The highest transaction volume occurred on October 28, 2021 with an amount of 536 million dollars, which is very strange. That's why I researched and this number was for the sale of a punk(#9998), and because of the mechanism of what happened, we cannot consider that act as a real sale.

Because erc721 did not exist when crypto punks were launched, the main platform of these NFTs is erc20, but you can wrap your punk to convert it to erc721.

observations: In the opposite table, the growth trend of wrapped NFTs is displayed and the overall trend is very promising, and it seems that users are gradually turning towards this platform of wrapping a crypto punk. The total number of wrapped punks is currently 477.

• You can easily feel the impact of the bull and bear market on the floor price of this collection.
• In the falling months, the slope moves down and in the positive months of the market, the slope moves up.
• The overall trend since 2020 has been extremely good and the floor price has been growing very well.
