Comparing NEAR and Solana: The Role of Gaming in Their Ecosystems

In my research on Web3 gaming's contribution to the Solana ecosystem, I developed a set of metrics to gauge the impact of gamers on the broader ecosystem, resulting in a set of standardized facts. This dashboard aims to extend that analysis to the NEAR ecosystem. The insights gained from studying Solana's ecosystem provide valuable lessons that can be applied to other blockchain networks. This dashboard begins with a focused approach, concentrating on the first principle of how Web3 gaming can support an ecosystem: through fees and staking, which I refer to as infrastructure support.
