Eclipse Overview (🐮,🌑)
Sep 25, 2024 - Eclipse brings together the best of Ethereum and Solana. It’s a new L2 set to launch at the end of October 2024. However, the L2 is already live on Mainnet Beta before the Public Mainnet opens. Eclipse uses a modular approach: Solana Virtual Machine for the execution layer, Ethereum for the settlement layer, and Celestia for the data availability layer.
