Market sentiment on Uniswap
Dec 26, 2023 - Volume, usage, TVL, pretty much all statistics in crypto are influenced by the state of the market at that time. In a bull run the amount of users and their activity rapidly increases while in a bear market everything seems to be really quiet. A few months ago we already analysed what happens and what people do in a bear market (see [Bounty #29 - Crypto winter usage of Uniswap](https://www.notion.so/71a7653da444464b80146b5d6ef60116?pvs=21)). However the crypto landscape is always rapidly changing, where with rumours of crypto ETFs we much just head in the other direction. For this bounty create a market sentiment dashboard. The dashboard can look at past data, and (where and if possible) also be forward looking. Explore historical data in past bull and bear markets, and look for indicators that might offer insights into potential future market trends to show where we might be heading. Furthermore, investigate behaviour of liquidity providers in bull and bear market, and how liquidity levels fluctuate in changing market sentiment. For example does increased volatility lead to more or fewer liquidity providers participating?
Liquidity Provider Profitability
Aug 27, 2023 - The introduction of Automated Market Makers (AMMs) has brought numerous advantages. Uniswap, in particular, has gained popularity due to its innovative features like no order books, accessibility, and transparency. A crucial aspect of this ecosystem is Liquidity Providers (LPs), who play a vital role in ensuring smooth trading by maintaining sufficient liquidity in each pool. In this dashboard, we will delve into the world of liquidity providers and their profitability. This dashboard will analyze impermanent loss on Uniswap as a whole, across different pools, and for individual LPs and develop a tool that allows an LP to easily compare their profit/loss with simply holding the assets. Identify pools that might be more or less favourable for LPs and determine if this affects LP behaviour.
Growth of Liquidity Providers
Oct 23, 2023 - Analysis can be done (but not limited to) the size of liquidity provided, the group of LPs who are most dominant volume wise (a lot of small LPs or a few whale LPs), how long do they tend to stay in pools to provide liquidity, how active the Liquidity Providers are and if this has a relation with the size of liquidity provided, impact of a large LP leaving small pool (will others fill the void?), Ethereum vs L2: is there a difference/overlap between LPs on L1 vs L2. For the above questions analyse trends over time and, where possible/relevant, differentiate between the pools (Eth-stables vs stable-stable vs stable-other).
