Bridge TVLs: Avalanche, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, Ronin, WBTC
Jun 7, 2023 - Bridge TVLs are calculated by summing the assets currently controlled by the contract address on the Ethereum side of each bridge, except for BTC.b which is calculated by summing mints and burns at the BTC.b address on Avalanche C-Chain. Bridge escrow wallets are found using etherscan and the docs from the respective bridge teams. Coverage is not complete as bridge teams occasionally update their addresses and some bridge architectures allow for custom escrow wallets for specific tokens (e.g. the DAI Arbitrum wallet).
High Gas Smart Contracts
Jun 10, 2024 - These tables showcase the worst performing smart contracts in terms of gas used per transaction within the past two weeks for different EVM blockchains. Note: a filter has been applied, which requires that a smart contract has at least 100 unique addresses sending transactions to them within the past two weeks. Address labels and derived contract names (derived from the smart contract code) are included when available.
Estimate Daily Transaction Gas Fees Paid in USD
Nov 1, 2023 - README: Typical gas fees for several major networks denominated in USD. Daily quartiles are provided for most networks along with daily transaction count. For Solana, a date filter is required due to the high transaction count and AVG() is used instead of the quartile calculations. I suggest you restrict the time period to ~1 month to ensure the Solana chart does not surpass the timeout set by Flipside; the query may still take some time (1-5 minutes). Notes: There is a dual y-axis on these charts. The left is USD value for tx fees and the right is tx count. USD gas fees are an approximation. Gas token USD prices are recorded on the hour using Flipside's price tables. For Ethereum, Avalanche, and Solana prices the wrapped token is used as a proxy. Axes are variable across each chart due to the time period for when data is available for each network and the magnitude of throughput/gas fee values.
